Family commitments mean I am out. Not particularly happy with it, but considering I won't be seeing them much for a couple of years, can't really say no!

Sad

I reckon the Accord would cane around here, too.

I went well last year (ok different version if the track) first time out in the Lacetti (All went downhill from there!). So yeah, I reckon FWD's have a decent chance here.

Should be able to make it in time for Quali on Sunday Smile

What sort of graphics settings do you use? Could be circuit detail needs to be on full.

Story of my weekend.

Pretty good in practice, just pipped by justin (0.012sec iirc)
Not so great in quali. Once again Bailey pulls one out of the bag when it counts.

Race1: Good battle with Bailey before pulling clear, Not able to quite keep up with Justin mind. With about 3 laps to go I realise I've not got enough fuel on board. Do 2 laps on half throttle before running out just before the complex for the final time. Somehow I still manage second despite having to wait for a lap for Justin to push me home!!

Race2: Slightly damage front of car on lap 1 car and handles like a turd on a sledge, spend the entire race alone in third as Justin and Stevie waltz off into the distance.

Race3: More damage to front of car again on lap1 (From a side impact!) and a spin at Sunny see's me in 4th. Frag runs out of fuel on last lap and I am promoted to third.

Left wondering where the hell everyone has gone since the World Cup????

It was a ballhair really!

Qualy went really well, for possibly the first time ever taking fuel out made me faster and by quite some margin too! So pole was good, think I got it by around .2

Race 1 was pretty boring, flag to flag good pace just pipped to fastest lap by an old man in an Alfa....

Race 2 was a bit more interesting got the jump but decided that leading wasn't fun and spun into second, after that nothing more happened and 2nd it stayed.

Race 3 with the reverse gird had potential to cause some fun, but I managed to go from 4th to 1st after the start with a little help of my moses stick. I pulled a gap before putting a wheel onto the grass underbraking which spun me around but the gap was big enough to hold onto another win!

Yay me, Powerpuff Girls FTW!

It was all a bit "meh" really. I hope the numbers start to pick up again. Sad

Indeed, I think it's fairly obvious that none of us had practised, there seems to be little point. Real shame as in the past we've had some good races and pretty damn hard fought ones too.

Would really like to hear why people aren't turning up despite signing up, is it we just can't get everyone together at one time? Have people got bored of Touring Cars? Are we doing something wrong? Or are people just a bit disinterested in rFactor at the moment?? Usually I'd be really looking forward to the next round (Snetterton should give us some really fun races especially) but if it's going to be 5 or 6 again I wont bother practising.

Oh an apologises for my getaway on the formation lap of race1. I had somehow unplugged my pedals, then managed to switch my onscreen display off. Much thumping of random keys ensued before finding it again!!

I don't think the extended break helped. We had about 6 for that Oulton Park race that wasn't due to Stevie not showing up, if JUstin, Stevie and Brox had been around, 9 would be a decent number.

It's disappointing, as our races are awesome imo.

Also, can I recommend using the mail out to make people remember.

What I'd do is a mailout post-race, detailing what happened, and where and when we go next, then say 4-5 days pre-race, another mail-out about the race, just try and get people revved up for it. Can anyone catch the pasty boy, etc.
