Don't know if its me , probably, or a weak set up.
Trying not to get discouraged. Best I could do at this track Oulton Park was a 133.
I would really appreciate it if someone could look at the set up I am using
and let me know if it is close or it's just me.
One other thing. How can I attach the SVM file???
PS: Can't hurt my feelings. Just looking for help

Don't feel too bad, Oulton Park is a tough track. I really struggled with it last time we ran it, so I did a fair bit of practice. It's the only track where laptimes this season haven't put the previous season to shade too.
Personally I don't put too much emphasis on changing the setup, once I have a setup that is somewhere near right, I just pound around lap after lap. You can't really improve your setup until you have stopped going quicker. I made 1 setup change during 2 hours of practice and stuck with it.
I don't think you can attach the setup here. You'll have to upload it somewhere. You are welcome to email it to me also by clicking the button below this post (although I wont be able to look at it for about a week). _________________

The bumps make this track one of the most difficult we do. You're braking on the bumps in the first 3 corners and you can lose a lot of time in said corners.
In terms of technique, you need to be doing a lot of threshold and trail braking in these corners, I put back my brake pressure to 90% at Oulton just to get more balance on the bumps under hard braking.
You're in the BMW, aren't you? Not a car I know too well.
Practice makes perfect, try different lines in practice, that's what I do, I rarely do 3-4 laps without changing something.
Something I always do is look at a-pex speeds, you can't really do it when racing or you'll hit someone, but it's a great way of feeling balanced.
For example, I know that my best apex speed at Turn 2 at Oulton was 82mph, it didn't drop below that during my best effort. Then I just try and target that.
Do you know in particular where the car felt slow at Oulton? I think the drive out of the chicane and hairpin are two of the most important bits as you have 2 big straights after them, as well as the double right hander in sector 3.
