Having done a few laps I'm managing to drag the Alfa around about 1/2sec quicker than I managed in the Leon last time, was hoping for a bit more than that _________________

*Newsflash*
It has been reported that the current leaders in the 2010 SROL BTCC, 'Blaze Racing', participated in a secret testing session at the Rockingham circuit last night.
A source from the circuit - who wishes to remain anonymous due to threats on their life - stated, 'they just blasted in here, no warning. The foreign sounding one hit me with some kind of sausage-shaped baton and the next thing I knew I was bound, gagged and trapped in a stack of tyres.'
It is understood the team barricaded entry to the circuit and proceeded to work on setup - days ahead of official practice.
SROL, the organisers of this year's championship, have not yet issued a statement but if past history is anything to go by, repercussions may be severe. However, online racing pundit Pete Pistonhead thinks otherwise, 'this report is a flaming disgrace, I'm tyred of all the spin you press people fuel the public with. Blaze have intelligently exploited a loop-hole in the regulations which allow them to test. Oil defend them to the end.'
Reports are also circulating that top driver Metted smashed the lap record, with EddieB and FraG hot on his heels but the latter suffering with severe tyre wear.
The debate continues...

Obviously this is all speculation and 'hot air' and this reporter should know better than to report such codswallop to the public.
It would be very unfortunate for his legs to suddenly go missing....
Last night I was washing my hair and I know Metted was out buying frankfurter's. |

Absolutely outrageous behaviour from Blaze!
Frankfurters! I vote for immediate testing for all drivers for illegal sausage insertion performance techniques! _________________

You guys really should look up Team-mates in the dictionary or at least Google it sometime
Did a few more laps yesterday and much happier with my pace now. _________________

*News Flash Update*
Following reports of illegal insertion techniques, BTCC competitors Metted and FraG are due to have their rear end structures and tail pipes inspected by an independent adjudicator this evening.
Journalists wishing to probe have been warned to steer clear... |

What an eventful race!
Team Powerpuff Girls manged to get some good pace together in practise so we we're looking good in a tight bunch. but things started going wrong for me after qualy.
This is such a rhythm track that once you get stuck in a 'slow' bunch it's so hard to get back upto the pace you can run so in R1 and R2 after some taps and brain farts I had a struggle making a comeback whilst my team mate had fun up front! R3 went abit better thankfully I managed to survive lap 1 somehow and then finished after a nice battle with Frag around the midpoint!
Bring on Brands! _________________ -----------------------------------------

Probably shouldn't have taken that degree of rear wing off. Really enjoyed the races but gutted I couldn't carry my practice times into the races. Brands should be kinder on the tyres for us FWD guys. _________________

Great weekend again, had good pace but couldn't translate it in to wins due to tyres turning in to treacle. Not to mention my rubbish starts off the line... which always put me in very much traffic making the races hard work but fun! Looking forward to Brands, as Beeble says should be easier on the FWD cars.
Thanks all, see you soon... |
